“ Great breakfast (actually brunch) with relatives. Chicken was delicious, biscuit & gravy was also top notch. They do gravy a bit differently than what I'm used too, denser and less volume, but a nice flavor. We finished up with quadruple coconut cream pie. This is what pushed it up to 5 stars for me. Tons of coconut in a good cream filling on a flaky crust. Yum. ”
“ I have never had a better biscuits and gravy or chicken pot pie anywhere. No one else knows how to do biscuits and gravy (the way I like it anyway). Other places serve cookie cut cheap cold doughy white flour biscuits with room temp white thick generic plops of gravy and sausage chunks with pepper. This place serves scratch homemade style yellow crisp griddled warm perfect texture biscuits with steaming flavorful gravy. Thank you! The chicken pot pie was almost too pretty to eat. How do they make it such a gorgeous work of art? Don't question the bakers here- they are legit. The ingredients were quality, flavorful, and served hot (I'm so sick of room temp food at other places). The chicken was not nasty meat- it was the meat I'd serve. Just perfection. You also have to try the loaded Brussels sprouts, salads, Bloody Mary, and Java shake!!!! ”
“ I was in FoCo again this weekend. Before leaving this morning to head back home, I stopped by Ginger and Baker to have breakfast. The last time I ate here was dinner time. It was around 11:30 am and as one can imagine, they were busy. I like how they gave two bar areas for single or couples seating. I chose to sit at their main bar area. The young man who waited on me was friendly and provided good service. Today I chose the pancakes with bacon. I doubled down on bacon and had a total of five pieces. Bacon was made to perfection. Not overdone and not too soft. They offer thick cut bacon which is my preference. They offer three fluffy pancakes that are also made to perfection. They serve it with authentic maple syrup and not the cheap candied up version. I recommend ordering an extra maple syrup. The pancakes absorb one serving of it. Overall, meal was fantastic and filling. I really didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. So glad I stopped here for breakfast. I almost decided to have breakfast at my hotel. This will become a regular favorite spot of mine. Love this place! Check them out for breakfast sometime! ”

“ Lovely spot for a sit down brunch! We arrived on a Sunday at 11 and waited 30 mins for a table. While we waited, we grabbed a coffee at their cute cafe next stop and browsed their shop. The coffee was fine but pies looked amazing! For brunch I ordered the fall salad with chicken. The base was kale with butternut squash, cranberries, parm, and a delish vinaigrette. The salad was great but I was they removed the kale stems as it was hard to eat. Service could have been better but it was a busy Sunday. I definitely will be back to try their chicken pot pie! ”
